Denver Real Estate
The state capital of Colorado is Denver. Denver, according to 2009 estimates, has more than 610,000 residents, making Denver the most populous city within Colorado. Denver is located between the Rocky Mountains and the High Plains. A giant metropolitan area with more than 70 neighborhoods, Denver also has many schools and universities, access to performing arts venues and athletics. The “Mile-High City” is close to Westminster, Arvada, Lakewood, Englewood, Littleton, Centennial, Aurora, Commerce City and Thornton.
Berthoud Real Estate
Berthoud, Colorado is called the “Garden Spot of Colorado.” The town of Berthoud is partially in both Larimer County and Weld County. Berthoud has a population of approximately 4,800, according to the 2000 census. Berthoud occupies 4.1 square miles and is about one mile north of the Little Thompson River. The town of Berthoud has several parks for its residents' recreation and pleasure including Berthoud Park and Fickel Park. Berthoud is south of Loveland and Fort Collins and north of Longmont, Broomfield, and Westminster, along the Front Range Urban Corridor.
Black Hawk Real Estate
Black Hawk, Colorado is the smallest city in the state of Colorado with a population of 118, according to the 2000 census. Black Hawk is in Gilpin County, along the north fork of Clear Creek and Gregory Gulch. What started as a mining town during the mid-19th century is now a small city with a number of casinos which brought the city back from decline during most of the 20th century. Black Hawk is adjacent to Central City, a competitive casino town, and is less than hour west of Denver, Broomfield, Lakewood, Golden, and Englewood.
Boulder Real Estate
Boulder, Colorado is at the base of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and is the county seat of Boulder County. According to 2008 estimates, Boulder has more than 94,000 residents. Boulder is approximately 25 miles northwest of Colorado’s capital, Denver. Boulder is the home of the University of Colorado and Naropa University. Pearl Street Mall, a large, popular pedestrian mall, is located in Boulder. Boulder is well known as a year-round cycling city.
Bow Mar Real Estate
Bow Mar, Colorado is a town outside of Denver in Arapahoe County and Jefferson County. According to the 2000 census, Bow Mar has a population of approximately 850 people. Bow Mar had its start as an agricultural community, but during the 1940s and 1950s, Bow Mar was developed to provide single-family structures on one-acre lots. Bow Mar occupies .8 square miles. There are several bodies of water nearby, including: Marston Lake, Bowles Lake, Upper Tule Lake, and more. Areas closest to Bow Mar are Littleton, Englewood, Lakewood, and Denver.
Brighton Real Estate
Brighton, Colorado is the county seat of Adams County; Brighton is also partially within Weld County. According to 2008 estimates, Brighton has a population of approximately 31,400 people. Brighton occupies 17.1 square miles and is about 23 miles northeast of Denver and is often considered to be a suburb of Denver. Other areas close to Brighton include Henderson, Fort Lupton, Todd Creek, Thornton, and Barr Lake State Park.
Broomfield Real Estate
Broomfield, Colorado is both a city and a county. Broomfield is also Colorado's newest and smallest county as it was incorporated in November of 2001 and occupies 27.5 square miles. Broomfield, according to 2008 estimates, has a population of nearly 55,000 people and is a suburb of Denver. Areas close to Broomfield include Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, Westminster, Northglenn, and Thornton.
Castle Pines Real Estate
Castle Pines, Colorado is an area in Douglas County. According to the 2000 census, Castle Pines has a population of approximately 6,000 people. Castle Pines has 10.2 square miles, and has an elevation of 6,558 feet. Recently, at the end of 2007, the northern area of Castle Pines incorporated as the City of Castle Pines North. The southern area of Castle Pines has not yet determined if it will incorporate as the City of Castle Pines Village. Castle Pines is approximately 10 miles north of Castle Rock and about 13 miles south-southwest of Centennial.
Castle Rock Real Estate
The county seat of Douglas County is the centrally-located town of Castle Rock, Colorado. East Plum Creek runs through Castle Rock, which has an elevation of 6,224 ft. According to 2008 estimates, Castle Rock has a population of more than 44,300 residents and is about 28 miles south of Denver. Areas close to Castle Rock include Castle Pines North, Parker, Highlands Ranch and Larkspur.
Centennial Real Estate
Centennial, Colorado is in Arapahoe County. According to the 2008 estimates, Centennial has a population of approximately 100,000. The city of Centennial was incorporated in early 2001, and with its large population, Centennial became the largest incorporation in the history of the country. Centennial has a footprint of 27.9 square miles and is split by Interstate 25. Centennial is about 14 miles south of Aurora, 15 miles southeast of Denver, 11 miles southeast of Englewood, and 14 miles east-southeast of Littleton.
Central City Real Estate
Central City, Colorado is the county seat of Gilpin County; Central City is also partially in Clear Creek County. Central City got its start during the Pikes Peak Gold Rush in 1859 and was a mining town for many years. Like other areas during the 20th century, once the gold was gone, Central City went into decline. Casino gambling was passed in the 1990s and breathed some new life into Central City. According to the 2000 census, Central City has a population of 515 people. Central City is also home to 6 casinos. Central City is adjacent to Black Hawk, and is less than hour west of Broomfield, Denver, Golden, Lakewood, and Englewood.
Commerce City Real Estate
Commerce City, Colorado is in Adams County. According to 2008 estimates, Commerce City has a population of approximately 42,000 people. This northern suburb of Denver, Commerce City, covers 25.8 square miles and is home to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, greyhound racing at the Mile High Greyhound Park, and the largest oil refinery in the Rocky Mountain Region. Commerce City is close to Sherrelwood, Westminster, Thornton, Denver, and Aurora.
Conifer Real Estate
Conifer, Colorado is a small (unincorporated) town in Jefferson County. Conifer is a very scenic area. For a long while, Conifer was known as a ranching area but recently the town of Conifer has expanded into retail and commercial development. Depending on where in Conifer one lives, children are serviced by Jefferson County Schools or Platte Canyon Schools. Conifer is close to Aspen Park and Staunton State Park.
Elizabeth Real Estate
Elizabeth, Colorado is a town in Elbert County. Elizabeth has a population of approximately 1,400 according to the 2000 census, making it the largest town in Elbert County. Elizabeth covers an area of .9 square miles and is divided by Running Creek, at the northern edge of the Black Forest. Cities close to Elizabeth include Franktown, Kiowa, Parker, and Castle Rock.
Englewood Real Estate
Englewood, Colorado has a population of approximately 32,500, according to 2008 estimates. Englewood is in Arapahoe County. While not in Englewood, Englewood controls McLellan Reservoir which provides most of the water to the south metro area. Primary education in Englewood is predominantly provided by the Englewood Public Schools. However, depending on where one lives, they may be serviced by Littleton Public Schools, Sheridan Public Schools, or Cherry Creek Schools; there are also several private education facilities in Englewood. Evergreen, Colorado is a commuter area outside of Denver, roughly 15 miles west of the capital city. According to the 2000 census, Evergreen has a population of approximately 9,200 people. Evergreen is an unincorporated area located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and sits at an elevation of 7,220 ft. Evergreen has easy access to to recreational activities including skiing and snowboarding, boating, and hiking. Cities near to Evergreen include Arvada, Edgewater, Golden, Lakewood, Littleton, Westminster, and Wheat Ridge.
Firestone Real Estate
Firestone, Colorado is a small town in Weld County. Firestone has approximately 1,900 residents, according to the 2000 census; Firestone occupies 5.3 square miles. Firestone is approximately 23 miles west-northwest of Boulder, about 12 miles southeast of Longmont, and 40 miles south of Fort Collins. Small communities close to Firestone include Frederick, Dacono, and Fort Lupton.
Fort Collins Real Estate
Fort Collins, Colorado is the county seat of Larimer County and nestled on the Cache La Poudre River. Larimer County is on the northern border of Colorado, adjacent to Wyoming. According to a 2008 estimate, Fort Collins is the home of more than 136,500 people. Fort Collins is approximately 60 miles from Denver, the state capital. Fort Collins is home of Colorado State University and is viewed as a college town. The college town feel is typified by the five microbreweries in Fort Collins, the annual festivals, and music circuit. Nearby communities include Berthoud, Estes Park, Timnath, Wellington, and Loveland, Colorado.

Frederick, Colorado is another small town in Weld County with a population of approximately 2,500 according to the 2000 census. Frederick got its start a coal mining town in 1907 and attracted residents from several far-flung area including France, Greece, Turkey, Latin America and more. Frederick has several parks including Bulrush Wetland Park, Centennial Park, and others for the recreational use of the people of Frederick.
Glendale Real Estate
Glendale, Colorado is surrounding by the city/county of Denver, but is actually part of Arapahoe County. Glendale occupies 1 square mile and Glendale has a population of approximately 4,500, according to the 2000 census. Interestingly, Glendale has its own political party, called the Glendale Tea Party. Glendale is well known for rugby, it is home to the Glendale Raptors and Infinity Park which frequently hosts USA Rugby national championship games. Glendale has several recreational parks including Cherry Creek Trail, Creekside Park, Mir Park, Playa del Carmen Park, and eventually Infinity Park when the final phase of construction is concluded. Glendale is flanked by Denver, Aurora, and Englewood.
Golden Real Estate
Situated between Lookout Mountain and the two Table Mountains is Golden, Colorado. Golden is the county seat of Jefferson County and has a little over 17,300 residents according to 2005 estimates. Golden got its start from Pike’s Peak gold rush in 1859, and is a popular destination today as the home of Coors Brewery company. Areas closest to Golden include Arapahoe, Applewood, Lakewood, and Genesee.
Greeley Real Estate
Greeley, Colorado is the county seat of Weld County. According to 2006 estimates, Greeley has a population of approximately 99,000 people. Greeley occupies 30 square miles and is bordered by the towns of Evans and Garden City. Sometimes, Greeley, Evans, and Garden City are collectively grouped together and referred to as Greeley. Greeley is home to the University of Northern Colorado as well as Aims Community College. Greeley is about 57 miles north-northeast of Denver and 31 miles southeast of For Collins.

residents. The area of Highlands Ranch takes up 23.5 square miles.
Highlands Ranch is a planned suburb of Denver which was started in the
late 1970s that includes a nice balance of public amenities such as
parks, schools, and libraries as well as green park areas. Highlands
Ranch is about 24 miles south of Denver, 14 miles southwest of
Centennial, and 7 miles south-southeast of Littleton.
Lafayette Real Estate
Lafayette, Colorado is a city in Boulder County with a
population of approximately 24,000 according to 2005 estimates.
Lafayette takes up 8.9 square miles and got its start a coal mining town
in the late 19th century. Lafayette is about 11 miles, mostly east, of
Boulder. Lafayette is about 6 miles north of Broomfield.
Lakewood Real Estate
Lakewood, Colorado is a city in Jefferson County. With a population of approximately 142,000 according to 2009 estimates, Lakewood is the fourth most populous city in Colorado and the most populous city in Jefferson County. Lakewood is home to Colorado Christian University and Denver Federal Center. The Denver Federal Center is second only to Washington, DC for having the most federal agencies in one area; as a result of this, the major employer for Lakewood is the government. Lakewood is about 8 miles southwest of Denver, and 9 miles northwest of Englewood.
Larkspur Real Estate
Larkspur is a small town of 234, according to the 2000 census, in Douglas County. The town of Larkspur plays host to the Colorado Renaissance Festival every weekend in June and July. Larkspur is about 11 miles south of Castle Rock and 31 miles north of Colorado Springs.
Littleton Real Estate
Littleton, Colorado is the county seat of Arapahoe County, but Littleton actually infringes on Douglas and Jefferson Counties as well. Littleton has a population of more than 40,300 people according to the 2000 census. Neighboring communities include: Acres Green, Carriage Club, Columbine, Heritage Hills, Highlands Ranch, Ken Caryl, and Roxborough Park.
Lone Tree Real Estate
Lone Tree, Colorado is a suburb of Denver in Douglas County. According to 2009 estimates, Lone Tree has a population of approximately 11,000 people. Lone Tree occupies an area of 1.7 square miles and was incorporated in 1996. Lone Tree is in close proximity to several communities including Highlands Ranch, Carriage Club, Meridian, Castle Pines, Centennial, and Greenwood Village.

Louisville got its start in 1877 as a mining town and witnessed much violence during the ensuing decades, but the Louisville of today got its start in the 1950s and has been consistently ranked as one of the best communities in the U.S. to live and raise a family. Louisville is approximately 11 miles southeast of Boulder, 6 miles north-northwest of Broomfield, and 15 miles mostly south of Longmont.

With a population of approximately 15,600, according to 2005 estimates, Loveland is the second largest city in Larimer County and the 14th largest in Colorado. Loveland is just a little south of Fort Collins, and the two areas are often grouped together. Loveland is located at the base of the foothills of the Colorado Front Range, and is a little east of the mouth of Big Thompson River. Nederland, Colorado is a town in Boulder County. The town of Nederland has a population of approximately 1,300, according to 2006 estimates. Nederland provides easy access to James Peak Wilderness, Roosevelt National Forest, Rocky Mountain National Park, Indian Peaks Wilderness, and Barker Reservoir. Each year Nederland hosts NedFest, a three-day festival focusing on bluegrass, jazz, and world-beat sounds. Parker Real Estate
Parker, Colorado is a town in Douglas County. According to 2008 estimates, Parker has a population of approximately 44,000. Parker has experienced rapid growth since its incorporation in 1981, at the time it had fewer than 300 residents. Children in Parker are serviced by the Douglas County School District RE-1. Parker has two newspapers of its own for local news: The Parker Chronicle and The Douglas County News/Press. Parker is approximately 8 miles southeast of Centennial, and 11 miles east of Lone Tree.

Westminster is a suburb of Denver, Colorado located approximately nine miles to the north-northwest. According to a 2008 census, Westminster has a population of just over 107,000 residents. Westminster has easy access to several Colorado state highways: I-25, US 36, US 287, SH 95, SH 121, and SH 128. There are two golf courses in Westminster, as well as a mall, an outdoor lifestyle center mall, and lots of land for trails and parks. The city of Wheat Ridge occupies 9.1 square miles and was founded in 1859 as a farming community. At one time, Wheat Ridge produced the most carnations in the world. Wheat Ridge is almost the midpoint between Lakewood to the south and Arvada to the north; Wheat Ridge is approximately 7 miles northwest of Denver.

Windsor, Colorado is a town located in Larimer County and Weld County. The town of Windsor has approximately 14,900 residents, according to 2005 estimates. Windsor is divided by the Cache la Poudre River. The commercial industries in Windsor have evolved over time; Windsor began as a wheat farming area in the late 19th century, became a sugar producer at the start of the 20th century through the 1960s, followed by the opening of a Kodak manufacturing plant, and a canning factory. Windsor is approximately the midpoint between Fort Collins and Greeley, and about 15 miles northeast of Loveland.
