I am a Colorado Native. I grew up in Wheat Ridge and Indian Hills and I spent my teenage years in Arvada.
I graduated from Arvada West High School in 1977, home of The Wild Cats™purple and white, in 1977. I graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1984, prairie home of The Buffalo's™gold and black. I have a BA in English and a minor in Journalism.
I have been in real estate for 17 years. I was the owner and managing broker of a boutique real estate firm in Northwest Denver called Raven Realty Inc. I have been with RE/MAX for Four years.
My favorite landmark is the Oriental Theater at 44th and Tennyson, a 1920™s gem decorated in a Moorish style. These days the theater hosts many entertaining live performances.
My favorite neighborhood is West Highlands, but I like to say that I know Denver and it™s neighborhoods like™™ Favorite poems.™ There are many wonderful neighborhoods in the Denver Metro area.
Two of my favorite novels are Lonesome Dove and A Prayer for Owen Meany.
My favorite contemporary poet is Mary Oliver.
My favorite philanthropies are The Wheat Ridge Kiwanis Club, The Southern Poverty Law Center and The Children's Miracle Network.
My favorite time of the year is in April when the fruit trees are in bloom. My second favorite time of the year is early autumn when the leaves turn golden and the apples are ready for pie and the football season is underway.
I enjoy river fishing--fly and lure™but mostly I love standing in the water in my waders and taking in all the picturesque beauty while the cold clear water meanders down the stream.
My favorite place is a secret fishing spot in southern Colorado.
I have a handful of favorite restaurants, most of them are Mexican food restaurants on the Northwest Side of town, but another is an Italian place called Patsy™s in the Highlands.
My favorite shoes are an old pair of beach Berks.
Among my favorite musicians are Bob Dylan & Jerry Jeff Walker, and I love the Blues, most any old or new.
A word to describe me: sincere.
Words to live by™Always Yes Today™ Or, maybe something Kilgore Trout might say™.
