Personal Information
I am a native of Colorado with my family homesteading in northern Colorado in 1870. I was raised on a farm in what is now SE Fort Collins and graduated from Colorado State University in 1974 with a BS in Agricultureal Economics. Competing as a calf roper I was a member of the (PRCA) Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, until the mid 1970's. Both of my daughters attended South Western Oklahoma State University (SWOSU), on rodeo scholorships. My oldest daughter graduated from SWOSU with a degree in Chemistry/Biology. My youngest daughter graduated from Colorado State University with a major in Technical Journalism. My wife Linda is a graduae of the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley and continues to train horses and compete in rodeos and jackpot barral races.
