Arvada is located northwest of Denver and retains a small-town feel even with its estimated population of 106,237. Established in 1870, Arvada enjoys a rich history, quiet tree-lined neighborhoods, and a robust mix of business. The City of Arvada also boasts a quaint historical downtown area that features many landmarks and city treasures. In the future Arvada will be included in one of three area transit stops as part of the metropolitan Fastbacks light rail system currently under development.
