After a grueling grind of 10 weeks in the Denver market with a very tumultuous realtor from another company - my wife and I, out of town buyers from the Washington, D.C. region, had all but given up our hopes of finding a Denver home to accommodate a job transfer for me later this year.
In a last ditch effort - I began cold calling realtors with listings directly to negotiate offers and came across a listing from Heidi Schaffnit. From our initial call, her exuberance and demeanor were refreshing. Heidi was professional and recommended that we work with her colleague Jim Franklin to negotiate an offer for the property.
One cold call later - a successful business relationship was forged. Enter stage-right, Jim presented himself as a realtor who listened, asked questions, answered his phone, and pulled out EVERY stop to win over our misguided trust of the Denver realty pool. Over the course of six days, Jim and I talked several times a day, traded a plethora of texts and emails and scoured through listing after listing after listing. On a Sunday morning - Jim dropped what he was doing to entertain a quick drive by of a potential property without us asking - demonstrating an “above the call to duty” commitment to us. On a Monday night he traded emails and texts well into the late hours - proving yet again, his commitment to his calling….
Finally - we landed on a builder in the town/location we were most interested (Thornton). Jim worked tirelessly over the next two days to field calls, make appointments, and negotiate on our behalf - a contract! Jim pulled off in six days what nobody was able to do in ten weeks. He has proven his adroit pulse on the Denver market and his remarkable ability to exceed customer expectations through his actions.
Our road to this point was magnified by our distance and geographic separation - but you would not get that feeling with our recent liaise with Jim Franklin. His abilities have removed the challenges that once plagued us and we are on the road to Denver region home ownership as a result. We wanted to echo our appreciations within your organization and remind you, remind Jim, that behind the keystrokes, phone calls, voicemails is a face. That face has a story.
Thank you for cultivating a cadre of professionals! Heidi and especially Jim have earned our business in the short-term and the long-term too! We are grateful!
