Take me outdoors and I'm at my best! Living in the foothills of Northern Colorado for over 20 years lets me be a part of it every day, and we feel we have our own little piece of heaven! Living in the mountains presents certain challenges, but it's really just a different lifestyle. Once you learn the ropes and meet the wonderful community around you, these people become your second family.
I love to connect people to their needs, and real estate has always been a natural career path for me. It affords me the ability to bring all my past experience to bear and identify my client’s needs while creating value in helping them to find their own piece of heaven.
A graduate of Colorado State University - GO RAMS!!!
Our daughter lives in San Francisco as an architect; our son is just finishing a masters program at Colorado State University in Bio-Chem.
My husband is a former Marine, 'Semper Fi!' Together we have owned about 12 homes in our lifetime. Most we've remodeled, torn up, added on, or, as in the case of our present home - built it ourselves. This was probably one of the most enjoyable and exciting experiences of my life. As a Realtor® this gives me firsthand experience with the joys and frustrations of remodeling, and new construction, and so I can guide my clients through the complicated maze of construction of a home they love.”
In 2012 we lost our beautiful home to the High Park Fire, one of the largest in Colorado. We have since rebuilt on the same footprint and still have our beautiful view, minus many of our trees. We are grateful for our wonderful community, which made our rebuild a little easier. We are stronger for our experiences, and many times I repeated my husband's favorite saying "One Rock at a Time!"
