Outside of work you can find Michelle tubing Golden's Clear Creek on hot days, gardening on cool ones, and rooting for the Broncos and Avalanche all season long. A long-time runner and mountain biker, Michelle most recently learned to motorcycle and now enjoys dirt-biking too. Michelle works hard and recharges by exploring mountains and deserts, and taking natural swims whenever (and wherever) possible. Michelle loves the outdoors and all kinds of recreation that Colorado offers.
Colorado became home in '77 when Michelle's father Alfred, combat veteran and helicopter pilot, retired from the U.S. Army. She promptly landed her first job at age 11, as papergirl for The Denver Post. Michelle believes that life is for living, and that good work serves people, and their needs, well. Michelle currently lives in Edgewater with her partner David and a very large cat named Sushi Boy.
